Will Meghan go modern?

Hooray, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have welcomed their new baby boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, born on May 6, 2019 at 5.26am weighing in at 7lb 3oz. Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
They have shared some lovely pictures with the world of Prince Harry cradling his son – in a white merino wool shawl made by G H Hurt & Son. The couple are so happy and over the moon with their new arrival.
I spoke to The People magazine last week about how I think the Duchess of Sussex will go for a more modern approach with her style. I worked within the Childcare industry for over 15 years, as a Supernanny, Private Maternity Nurse, Sleep Trainer and Baby Concierge. I have worked all over the globe in the past for some wonderful families, including friends of the royals, so I regularly contribute to the press with my opinions.
In my opinion, I really can’t see that this baby boy will be dressed in smocking and knee-high socks the way Kate Middleton’s children have been, I think she will be a very modern parent and will probably take more guidance from friends such as Amal Clooney.
And don’t expect to see Queen Elizabeth‘s vintage Silver Cross Balmoral pram, which was used by Kate (and previous generations of royal mums) for Princess Charlotte’s christening. Amal has a Bugaboo for the twins, and I can Meghan going with their modern designs rather than the Silver Cross. The Duchess has a very individual style, and she will incorporate that when she’s shopping for her baby boy.
I think she will stick to some of her U.S. brands, like Petit Tresor in Los Angeles, and I am sure she will use Honest, the eco-brand founded by Jessica Alba So many of my clients just love that brand so much.
Given Meghan’s enthusiasm for sustainable and ethical fashion, I am certain that she will choose baby brands that are not only cute but also have a feel-good factor. She will want to incorporate her own style and her love of all things eco when it comes to clothing for the baby, and she will go for organic cotton for her layette I’m sure.

“Great share!”
Good post this! I think you’re spot on about they using more US brands then say Kate/ Will would have done!
I don’t follow the royal family but I loved Megan in suits! I was surprised she left but sure if a prince a real life one fell in love with me ,I guess I’d pack in the day job too 🤣🤣
I think she will be a very different parent than we’ve seen with the rest of the Royal family, it will be nice to see how to does this
I agree with you. I think that Meghan will definitely be less traditional than Kate in her parenting.
She might just do that – I’m pretty sure that there are some royal “rules” that are already too ancient to follow religiously.
I think Meghan will be less traditional and more modern with her parenting.
