UK travel ideas for 2022

Camping

Motor homes
If you are lucky enough to own a camper or a caravan there are so many options for you. You could take it to a festival, take a road trip or even head across to Europe. Alternatively, there are plenty of holiday parks where you can stay in static caravans in some beautiful parts of the country. Lots of families choose to buy a caravan and rent it out when they are not staying there which is a great source of extra income, if you need static caravan insurance you can compare quotes with The Caravan Insurer.

Glamping

Airbnb
Renting an Airbnb property has become a very popular way to travel. People rent out their homes, outdoor spaces, quirky beach front cabins and places in great locations for sightseeing. Airbnb is often very budget friendly compared with staying at a holiday park or in a hotel.
Family holiday parks
If you keep an eye on certain newspapers, they often have great deals for budget family breaks in the UK. Holiday parks such as Haven or Butlins are great places for kids with plenty of entertainment during the day including water parks, fairground rides and sports and cabarets and discos in the evening.
Boating holidays
Fancy cruising along a canal or river? You could rent a boat for a different sort of holiday. You can rent traditional style narrow boats which you can captain yourselves or if that sounds a bit too stressful then stay on a static boat that is docked on a river.
Are you planning to try and get away with your family this summer? If you have any advice or tips on places to stay in the UK we would love to hear from you.
