We had a lovely, adults only, 2 night stay at Clumber Park Hotel and Spa which is situated close to the M1 near to Mansfield.The hotel is located in lovely grounds on its own which gives it a lovely feel of seclusion.Our check-in was very prompt and our room was large with an extremely comfortable bed.We went into the restaurant for dinner, the food was delicious, we had baked Camembert for two and then I had chicken with risotto and my partner had a steak with Stilton sauce. The wine menu was extensive and we were served promptly.The hotel does have a spa although we chose to go walking around Sherwood Park instead of having a lazy day.The hotel also has fast free WiFi throughout and ample free parking is available.Clumber Park is a perfect weekend escape and has the added benefit of being close to a wide range of activities:Nottingham Town Centre.A1 & M1 motorways.I would recommend Clumber Park for a great adult escape.Check out our other adventures here.
