The British Airways lounge is great and we were lucky enough to be there through breakfast and lunch menus, it’s slightly different since my last time using the lounge as it was just after Covid. It’s a full buffet style with a wide range of food and drink available. The lounge is child friendly although I would recommend you grab something from the several food outlets for your little one to eat in there as there was not much for a younger palette.

Meal on board
A very short 55 minute flight included a meal as soon as the seatbelt sign went off, the beef salad was tasty but I had eaten a few dishes in the lounge prior to take off so declined the bread and dessert!

The seat configuration on the business class flight is a standard seat, with the middle seat not being in use followed by another seat- meaning you do get to sit on the window or aisle seat. There are a small amount of business class seats on this flight, so make sure you book in advance.

The biggest plus for me on a short business class flight is the quick disembark from the aircraft, great when you have children as you tend to skip the security queues and are there to collect your luggage straight away.
