Aston Hall Hotel

In February we enjoyed a lovely two-night getaway for two in the lovely Aston Hall Hotel in Sheffield.
The hotel was built in 1772 and is steeped in history, it has been lovingly restored and updated with a contemporary design which is high in style but has kept original features. Surrounded by 55 acres of gardens and meadow land, the setting is absolutely beautiful.

The hotel boasts 52 stylish bedrooms and suites, as well as the Bamford Restaurant and the Volante Bar and Lounge. Aston Hall is located outside Sheffield, only a minute from junction 31 off the M1 and right on the doorstep of the beautiful Peak District.

We had a fantastic stay and our room was gorgeous. It had a comfortable bed, a wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities, a hair drier, iron and iron board, desk space and chair, flat screen LCD TV, telephone, dressing gowns, bespoke toiletries, mini fridges and a stunning en-suite bathroom.

There was a great variety of food on offer in the restaurant and all that we tried was very delicious.
Close to the hotel you can visit the Meadowhall Shopping Centre and the Rother Valley Country Park.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
