Paw Patrol New Recruits

I was desperately searching to do something Paw Patrol related and stumbled across Gravity in Wandsworth who were offering a Paw Patrol immersive gaming experience suitable for the whole family. So, we booked online and headed off there the next day.

The tickets were £34.00 per adult and £24.00 ages 3-12 years. I did call ahead and explained that my companion was 2.5 years and they said they would welcome her but she would have to pay, which I fully understood. Their game boxes hold a maximum of 6 players so when making your booking their system will automatically reserve multiple game box even if there are only two of you playing.

The website states: “Immerse yourself in the hit TV show as you play fun rescue missions alongside Ryder and your favourite four-legged friends. This interactive digital experience lasts 60 minutes with a short break in the middle for any young pups who need a breather. Can you sniff out the clues, solve the problems and lead your pack to mission success? Suitable for the whole family, ages 3 and up”

When we arrived at Gravity I was really surprised to see them still painting the go-kart track and setting up tills etc, the staff were all walking around in large coats and I couldn’t work out if they were actually open! After some exploring I found someone who showed us where the lift was and we went upstairs to the games rooms.

You check yourself in on a screen on arrival and I have to say I wasn’t too happy about my full name being on the screen – but that is just a personal preference of mine. We were shown what to do and my companion gladly put on the visor as required.

TOP TIP – you can just walk around with the visor and still use it if you have a child who is unwilling to wear it.

The large back wall is touch sensitive which allows you to play along with different games featuring all of the favourite Paw Patrol characters such as Chase, Rubble, Skye, Zuma and Rocky including Chickaletta and Mayor Goodwin. It is a workout in itself and I amassed a pretty impressive 3000 steps within the hour!

The most annoying part of the trip is that they have no baby change facilities which I found extraordinary as it is a child friendly games and arcade centre.

I think I would like to plan a return visit when the centre is fully open and the staff are more trained and the smell of paint has disappeared.
