Who doesn’t love a spot of afternoon tea? Well, fusion is the new flavour at Trader Vic’s, located in London Hilton on Park Lane, with their latest theme being “Tiki-Tea”, an exclusively savoury twist on traditional British afternoon tea inspired by their French-Polynesian roots.

Unlike your regular afternoon tea experience, Tiki Tea is available from 5 PM only, every evening until late.Trader Vic’s invites guests to unwind with a towering table selection of fusion-tastes from around the world, including crispy prawns, Tom Yum soup, BBQ spare ribs, Asian spiced chicken wings, jalapeno cheese balls, chickpea crepes and crispy bok choy and mushroom dumplings.

The tiki-tea feast is a unique experience unlike anything else in London, it is served alongside vibrant sharing cocktails made with both dark and light rum. Available in a personal choice of tiki bowl, the drink options include a delightful punch, finished with brandy and orange juice; Rum Keg, flavoured with pineapple, apricot and passion fruit; or the delicious Nippon Tea Punch, a sensuous blend of black tea syrup, honey syrup, brandy and peach liqueur.

Each delectable treat epitomises the sounds and smells of island-style cuisine and is exclusively found at Trader Vic’s. The eclectic surroundings, authentic artefacts, tiki carvings and trappings that adorn the walls come free of charge.

Trader Vic’s Tiki-Tea is priced at £42 per person and is available from 5pm-10pm daily.
