Pai Skincare Brand Special

Ad – this was a gifted experience but all opinions are my own.
“Pai Skincare is one of the few skincare companies who proudly formulate and manufacture their own products in their London HQ using organic ingredients.” Sarah Brown is the founder of Pai Skincare she told me that: “Out of the blue, I developed urticaria and my usually calm skin became irritated, hyper-sensitive and acne-prone. Trying to keep it under control was a daily battle and finding products that didn’t contain problem ingredients brought a whole new challenge.
I‘d reached a dead-end with a cabinet full of products claiming to be “hypoallergenic” and “organic”, let down by their ingredient lists full of synthetics and irritants.
I just wanted effective skincare I could trust and depend on and creating Pai was my way of taking back control.
Pai is everything I wanted as a customer; skincare made with effective, organic ingredients, no nonsense marketing and a brand that understands products are just one piece of the puzzle.”
Pai Skincare is independently certified by COSMOS (Soil Association), Cruelty Free International and The Vegan Society. They independently patch test all of their products to make sure they’re suitable for both sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
I was lucky enough to have a 15 min online consultation which was brilliant, I was given advice and then provided with a recommended skincare routine and schedule and told what products would work best for my skin and how to use them. Here is what I have been given:
Evening:
- Step 1: Light Work – Rosehip Cleansing Oil: This is part of a double-cleanse regime to remove makeup and SPF. The cleansing oils cling to excess sebum and the oils in your makeup to lift them away and leave skin feeling calm and nourished. Massage into dry skin before adding a few drops of water to create a light milk. Rinse thoroughly with water to remove.
- Step 2: Middlemist Seven – Gentle Cream Cleanser – This cleanser is detergent and alcohol-free, using a trio of nourishing oils to clean your skin thoroughly without stripping away its natural protective oils. For very sensitive skin, they recommend cleansing just once a day in the evening. Apply to dry skin and remove with a warm, damp cloth.
- Step 3: Back to Life – Hydration Serum – Designed to provide long-lasting hydration without causing irritation, this serum helps to retain moisture within the skin using a combination of antioxidant Tri-Berries and skin-boosting Hyaluronic Acid. It can be used alone, layered under a moisturiser, oil or applied just to affected areas. Mix with 1-2 drops of the Peptides 5% – Smoothing Booster – These amino acids stimulate collagen and elastin to plump and smooth. Fine lines are reduced and skin feels firmer.
- Step 4: Rosehip Bioregenerate – Universal Facial Oil: Our ultimate sensitive skin multi-tasker, this oil improves the appearance of dry patches, blemishes, scars, sun damage and uneven skin tone. They use a super concentrated blend of both the fruit and the seed of the plant, so a little goes a long way. Use alone on slightly damp skin or apply over the top of your serum or moisturiser. Simply press 1-3 drops into the face and neck just a few nights per week at first, increasing the frequency if required.
- Step 1: Cleanse with either cleanser or refresh the skin with warm water.
- Step 2: Apply Back to Life Hydration Serum mixed with 1-2 drops of the Peptides Booster.
- Step 3: The Anthemis – Soothing Moisturiser – This moisturiser contains anti-inflammatory Chamomile and skin-strengthening Rosehip in concentrated form to soothe, support and protect very reactive skin. Apply in the morning or evening to damp skin, or after spritzing one of our face toners.
- Step 4: Apply your SPF
- Heavy Mettle – Rescue Hand Cream – This sensitive skin-friendly hand cream brings intensive and long-lasting hydration to very dry and chapped hands. They use a careful balance of organic oils and water for a non-greasy texture. Massage into clean, dry hands as required. For very dry skin, apply each time you wash your hands. You can mix with a couple of drops of Rosehip Oil as an intensive nourishing night time treatment.
I am really looking forward to seeing the results of this new skincare regime, all of the products are really lovely and are so far making my skin feel refreshed and smooth.
