The importance of drinking water
Water! We are always told we should drink 8 glasses a day – so why do we all find it so difficult?
I will confess something to you now – I used to drink 12 cans of Diet Coke a day! Yes, 12!! To break this bad habit, I have been trying my best to stick to water. As well as keeping our bodies hydrated, water also flushes out our systems, regulates our body temperature and helps our brains function.
Water makes up about 60% of our body weight. When we are kept well-hydrated, our quality of sleep is better, we function better in general, our mood is better, there are just so many benefits. I think most people find water a bit bland and boring – I know that was my thoughts before.
These two products have really helped me to start drinking more water:
ZeroWater’s 12-cup water filter jug is the first in its class to benefit from a sealed lid and reservoir which allows filtered water to be poured while water, which hasn’t yet been filtered, remains in the reservoir. This adds a further 2 cups of capacity to the 10 cups of filtered water in the jug. It also features a one-handed, pull and pour button spout for easy pouring from the fridge or for filling bottles.
The jug benefits from a patented, 5-stage Ion Exchange Filtration system which removes virtually all dissolved solids from your water. Providing great tasting water without the dissolved solids which may include Minerals, Salts, Metals, Chemicals and Runoff. It also removes 99% of all Fluoride from your water.
This 100% leak proof BPA Free water bottle, has a vented, smooth liquid flow for rapid hydration. It is the width of a can, it has a soft touch feel for grip, a tough carry strap and fits any can holder, cup holder or kid’s lunch box or backpack. This bottle can be opened with one hand, and locked closed for peace of mind when throwing into a bag. The bottles are made from BPA free, phthalate free, non-toxic TRITAN, they are dishwasher safe and suitable for hot or cold drinks and come in a variety of colours.
So, there you have it. I will soon kick my Diet Coke habit!
